Psychology of Entrepreneurship

Nov 7, 2019

Asking for help can be difficult, and going it alone is certainly an underlying trait for many entrepreneurs. The truth is that, when it comes to real success, nobody does it alone - ‘self-made’ is just a myth.

Welcome to The Psychology of Entrepreneurship, a candid and revealing series that follows Ronsley Vaz and his guests, as they strive to unravel the inner workings of the entrepreneurial mind and explain why even the most successful among us experience Imposter Syndrome.

If you are someone who is holding back, feeling unworthy of your success or questioning your competency as a professional, this podcast is for you.

In 2012, Jayson Gaignard founded the invite-only event, Mastermind Talks. The event’s steady evolution took it from a relationship building, sit down dinners to the world's most exclusive annual networking event for entrepreneurs. People like Tim Ferriss, Marc Ecko, Guy Kawasaki and Dave Asprey, are just some of the line up that manages to attend.

Jayson also hosts his own podcast, Community Made, which is an all-access pass to lessons, learnings, and key insights from the world's most fascinating entrepreneurs. In 2015, he published his book, Mastermind Dinners which focuses on building communities, strong networks and trust.

In this volume, Ronsley and Jayson discuss finding bravery and the life-changing events that can happen in seven seconds. They talk through owning your success and building the most beneficial communities and cultures.

Also featured within this volume:

  • Jayson’s proudest moments at MMT – from being petrified to grateful
  • Being brave – how are you brave in your daily life?
  • The difficulty in taking a break – How to enjoy the dance
  • The artist in us all
  • How entrepreneurship can bring you into a sense of belonging
