Psychology of Entrepreneurship

Sep 20, 2019

There’s a lot of hidden power in your day-to-day thoughts. If you’re someone who is stuck in the negative, it might be time to reconsider your thinking patterns and rebuild your relationship with your brain.

Welcome to The Psychology of Entrepreneurship, a candid and revealing series that follows Ronsley Vaz and his guests, as they strive to unravel the inner workings of the entrepreneurial mind, and explain why even the most successful among us experience Imposter Syndrome.

If you are someone who is holding back, feeling unworthy of your success or questioning your competency as a professional then this podcast is for you.

Alda Karen is almost superhuman in her achievements. From a young age, she was well on her way to becoming an entrepreneur, receiving her first sponsorship at the age of 13. By 19, she was a VP of sales and marketing at Sagafilm, the biggest film production company in Iceland – think Star Trek: Into Darkness and Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar.

Alda soon fell into the media spotlight, opening up a space for her to begin lecturing about sales and marketing.  That’s where she found her passion in educating others, and a new business venture began, taking on the role as Founder and CEO of AK Consulting.

As the company evolved, she found herself constantly speaking about mental health, mind-set and habit building within business and life, as well as virtual reality as a form of brain training. From 2017, she has successfully hosted four sold out masterclasses, which are now accessible online along with other keynote speeches and her soon to be released book.

In this volume of Psychology of Entrepreneurship, Ronsley and Alda explore how we can begin rebuilding the way we interact with our thoughts. They try to unravel why Imposter Syndrome could be a sign of immense passion, and how virtual reality is paving the way towards higher IQs and better mental health.
