Entrepreneurs are the ultimate problem solvers, we build our businesses around providing solutions and creating value. But what happens if the problem that needs to be solved is you?
Welcome to The Psychology of Entrepreneurship, a candid and revealing series that follows Ronsley Vaz and his guests, as they strive to unravel the inner workings of the entrepreneurial mind, and explain why even the most successful among us experience Imposter Syndrome.
If you are someone who is holding back, feeling unworthy of your success or questioning your competency as a professional then this podcast is for you.
Tucker Max is without a doubt, an entrepreneurial genius and high performing super-achiever. Although his controversial past antics have seen him climb and descend the ladder of success and public opinion, you have to admit, he’s a publishing ninja.
In 2002, it all started when Tucker attempted to get his autobiographical book, ‘I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell,’ published. Due to the somewhat, frat-boy, over explicit, hooking up with girls and getting hammered style content, no publishers would touch it. So, in the familiar Tucker fashion, he resorted to teaching himself HTML and self-publishing these stories online.
By 2003, the website TuckerMax.com had exploded and built up so much momentum and hype that multiple publishing houses were soon hammering at his door.
Now he has written and published numerous books, sold millions of copies, hit the New York Times Bestseller List and still stands as the third person EVER to have three books on the non-fiction New York Times bestseller list at one time.
Today, Tucker is the founder and CEO of Scribe, a service that helps people to successfully write, publish, and market their books.
In this volume of Psychology of Entrepreneurship, Ronsley and Tucker deconstruct the idea behind entrepreneurship and the fastest way to get stuck. They break down exactly how to face our inner shadows while looking into our past, and Tucker’s love for the founder of Individual Psychology, Alfred Adler.
