Racism and discrimination are still a global problem. Although we have made some progress, there’s still a lot of work to be done.
This is The Psychology of Entrepreneurship,
a highly produced audio documentary style, revealing series that follows Ronsley Vaz and his guests, as they strive to go inside & unravel the inner workings of the mind of an entrepreneur, artist, athlete, academic; to decipher what is the psychology of our decisions.
If you are an entrepreneur (we consider that mothers are the original entrepreneurs) and would like to understand why we do certain things in certain situations, and if small changes in thinking can deliver massive amounts of results in success and happiness, then this podcast is for you.
We all have a responsibility.
Racism and discrimination are more than just hurtful words. They are so much more than a person’s selective beliefs or actions. Racism is the continued barriers that prevent people from enjoying dignity and equality because of their race.
On May 25th, the video of George Floyd’s death at the hands of the Minneapolis police, set into motion a seismic wave around the world. This horrific act ignited a renewed sense of anger, frustration and want for justice. Millions of people came together, arm in arm, to raise their voices, and chant for change in a global anti-racism movement like no other.
Our eyes have been opened, and racism is firmly placed back in the spotlight.
But, what if you are part of the problem? Discussing race, racism and discrimination is an essential step in taking responsibility and understanding the hand you play in institutionalized and systemic racism.
In order for us to grow as a society we need to start by educating ourselves. Now we need to take a step back and allow space for the right voices to be heard.
In this volume, we’re continuing to have the dialogue we should be having around racism. Ronsley talks us through the marginalisation of the many global communities that have been suppressed purely because of the colour of their skin. He presents the shocking facts and statistics surrounding racism, as well as hearing from global news reports and those on the front lines fighting the good fight to gain equality for all.
