Psychology of Entrepreneurship

Sep 11, 2020

Happy first birthday, Psychology of Entrepreneurship!  When Ronsley first created this docuseries, he saw it as a way to explore entrepreneurship and the inevitable imposter syndrome that comes with it. But over the last year, it has evolved into so much more.

This is The Psychology of Entrepreneurship,

a highly produced, revealing audio docuseries that follows Ronsley Vaz and his guests, as they strive to go inside & unravel the inner workings of the mind of an entrepreneur, artist, athlete, academic; to decipher what is the psychology of our decisions.

If you are an entrepreneur (BTW we consider that mothers are the original entrepreneurs) and would like to understand why we do certain things in certain situations, and if small changes in thinking can deliver massive amounts of results in success and happiness, then this podcast is for you.

This docuseries is a guest-driven show. Even in the special research-heavy volumes done during the pandemic, we are always reminded of little nuggets of knowledge our guests have provided over the last year. Each guest has given us a wealth of wisdom by sharing all the highs and lows of their entrepreneurial journey.

In this special birthday volume, Ronsley goes back to some of his favourite moments with guests. He’s asked the question “What is your definition of an entrepreneur?” to so many different kinds of people. In this volume, we examine their answers.

You’ll get to hear clips from some of our favourite volumes, which highlight the evolution of the series. What it comes down to is that entrepreneurs are humans. And with that comes all the dirty details of humanity, the good stuff and the bad. This podcast is a reflection of that.

Great birthday tidbits in this volume:

  • What is your definition of an entrepreneur?
  • Mothers as the original entrepreneurs
  • Special volumes dreamt up in a pandemic
  • Imposter Syndrome
  • The importance of situational context
  • The power of Journaling
