Psychology of Entrepreneurship

Jun 26, 2020

Our business can become an extension of ourselves. Everything goes into it, including our blood, sweat, tears, and so much more. But how does that affect us mentally?

This is The Psychology of Entrepreneurship,

a highly produced audio documentary style, revealing series that follows Ronsley Vaz and his guests, as they strive to go inside & unravel the inner workings of the mind of an entrepreneur, artist, athlete, academic; to decipher what is the psychology of our decisions.

If you are an entrepreneur (BTW we consider that mothers are the original entrepreneurs) and would like to understand why we do certain things in certain situations, and if small changes in thinking can deliver massive amounts of results in success and happiness, then this podcast is for you.

In this exclusive volume of The Psychology of Entrepreneurship, we’re reanalysing Ronsley’s conversation with Dr Sherry Walling from Volume 02. If you’ve listened to some of the other volumes, you may have noticed there’s a very common theme that threads its way through each conversation- Imposter Syndrome.

Who is Dr Sherry Walling? Well, Dr Walling helps smart people do hard things. She is a licensed clinical psychologist. She has spent the last 15 years becoming an expert in entrepreneurial success and founded ZenFounder, LLC, the community-based hub that aims to help entrepreneurs, families and companies thrive.

But, Sherry isn’t just an amazing psychologist. She’s a speaker, yoga teacher, podcaster, entrepreneur, and even best-selling author of the critically acclaimed book, “The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Keeping Your Sh*t Together.”

Sherry also co-hosts the ZenFounder Podcast, a show that seeks to help entrepreneurs survive, thrive and connect in business, relationships, and life.

In this volume, Ronsley weaves in the lessons from this discussion with other past conversations from Mark Fisher, Emily Fletcher, Noom Dara and more. We revisit and dissect the trials of burnout, how our brains really see our businesses and the deeply set origins of imposter syndrome.
